What is Miming?

To get the answer you need to come and see a true ministry in action! Presented by the Gibson Avenue Youth under the direction of Sister Melissa McKoy. God allowed us all to see a true blessing in action here tonight. We all are very proud of our youth and Sister Missy for an outstanding performance tonight.

The Milestone Mimes have come along way in their journey. They started out a couple of years ago with a dream to bring life through a new form of ministry to their church. The started out with just the basics. Created moves along the way they have formed miming. Miming is a form of spiritual dancing. Basically you perform moves to songs through expression of the body. Currently the Mimes have added sign language to their performances. Each week they come together for practice to help grow this ministry. Come. Enjoy. Be Blessed.

I don't think that there was a dry eye in the church tonight after this performance from our youth. We are very lucky to have so many youth that truly love the Lord and this Church as we want you to know how proud we are of you. If you missed tonight you really missed something and you will not want to miss the next one.
